1. Children listen to the story of ‘The Messy Magpie’ (Twinkl website) and discuss the main points of the story.
  2. Comprehension. Altogether we read the handout about ‘What is plastic pollution?’ The children discuss how they can help to reduce plastic. Then they work out the handout.
  3. Activity. The children are given two handouts where they have to sort the pictures according to the bins.
  4. Craft. The children make a musical which they can use during their Christmas concert. Using a small plastic bottle they can fill it with pasta, rice beans or beads.
