The K1.4 students really enjoyed this topic and learnt so much about snails including: What snails like to eat; the fact that snails leave trails behind them when they move, the fact that they carry their house with them where ever they go; that the snail hides in the shell when scared; snails have 4 antennae, 2 of which are their eyes. They also learnt that word  “bebbuxu” starts with letter ‘b’. The children observed them eating cabbage leaves and prepared a snail race to see them move. Finally the students made a snail out of play dough and shells.
