Today marks the first day of a week dedicated to the promotion of reading and books. Students were asked to prepare short book review of a book they recently read. Chasaya Bugeja, Andrea Micallef, Amelia Baldacchino, Isaac Buhagiar and Emma Borg of Yr 6.2 were the first students to share their book review.
Another major event that took place today was “meeting the author”. During these live sessions Yr 3 and Yr 4 students had the opportunity to meet Luke Micallef, an author and also a teacher from our school. The Yr 5 and Yr 6 students met Trevor Zahra who need no introduction. The students interacted with the authors by asking questions.
The students were also invited to prepare posters promoting reading. Above are the posters of Ayrton Vella (Yr 6.1) and Ylenia Vassallo (Yr 3.3).
