After a discussion on food hygiene the students acted as chefs and made a pretend chicken sandwich (with playdough acting as raw chicken covered with glitter to represent the harmful bacteria). After finishing making their sandwich the students then searched for glitter in their area and on their sandwich to see how far they had spread the harmful bacteria!
