This week we started talking about owls and we decided to create a brown owl using brown paper. The children cut the brown paper themselves while revising the importance of using the scissors properly. Since we found out that most owls go out during the night, we created our owl on a black background and put a moon and some stars as well. Finally our owl has two large eyes and one small hooked beak, two characteristics that we discussed together.

The children had the opportunity to roll the dice and identify the number of spots. Following this, the children had to count the correct number of owls and associate it with the same number found on the dice.
