Numeracy and Literacy through CODINGS and ROBOTIC
As a part of the European educational project Erasmus + Numeracy and Literacy through CODINGS and ROBOTIC, which is being implemented at Pivka Primary School this school year, from January 17 to 20, the preparatory visit to Malta was attended by the project coordinator mag. Mirjam Francetič, teacher Lucija Škvarča and Margareta Mrša. They planned activities and mobilities of teachers, participating in the project with teachers from schools in Malta, Italy and Portugal. The project is aimed at students ages from 6 to 10.
Through the project, in two years, we will develop ICT tools and strategies for teaching and working in the classroom with tablets and learning the basics of robotics and coding. Through the activities, students will become aware of new modern technology and the related professions of the future from the beginning of their education.
